Selecting A Material

Standard Material

At Bookblock, we stock a wide range of materials in various colors to suit your needs. Our standard materials include vegan leather, real leather, cloth, card, and printed covers. Each material offers unique benefits, ensuring you can find the perfect match for your custom notebooks without compromising on quality or style.

  • Vegan Leather: A durable, animal-free alternative to traditional leather, available in multiple textures and colors.
  • Real Leather: A luxurious and timeless option that adds sophistication to any notebook.
  • Cloth: Offers a refined, tactile feel with various textures and hues, perfect for a vintage or artisanal look.
  • Card: Lightweight and flexible, ideal for vibrant, full-color customizations.
  • Printed Covers: Allow for intricate patterns, detailed images, and bold designs, maximizing creative freedom.

Require Something Different

If our standard materials don’t meet your specific requirements, we can source any material on the market through our extensive network of suppliers and material makers globally. Whether you need a unique texture, a rare fabric, or a specialty eco-friendly option, we have the capability to find and procure exactly what you need to bring your vision to life.

Picking a Color

Our materials cover a broad spectrum of colors to ensure we can meet your branding needs. If you have a specific color in mind, simply provide us with the Pantone reference or an equivalent color code. Our team can then suggest materials that closely match your desired shade, ensuring your notebooks align perfectly with your brand’s identity.

Pantone Matching Colors

We offer Pantone matching services to achieve precise color consistency. However, custom manufacturing covers to match specific Pantone colors typically requires a minimum order quantity (MOQ) of approximately 5,000 units or more. For smaller orders or when Pantone matching is crucial, a printed cover notebook may be the best option. Printed covers allow us to match your Pantone colors accurately without the need for large MOQs.

Swatch Packs

To help you make an informed decision, we can provide swatch packs of certain materials upon request. These packs allow you to see and feel the colors and textures in person, ensuring you choose the perfect material for your custom notebooks. Contact us to request a swatch pack and explore the possibilities for your project.

Eco Materials

At Bookblock, sustainability is a core value, and we strive to use the most eco-friendly materials available. Our commitment to sustainability is reflected in our selection of eco materials, which include innovative options that reduce environmental impact. We collaborate with leading innovators to source eco-friendly leathers made from diverse materials such as coffee waste, recycled plastics, and fruit pulp. Some of the eco materials we offer include:

  • Coffee Waste Leather: Made from the waste produced by the coffee industry, this material is both sustainable and durable.
  • Recycled Plastic Leather: Utilizes recycled plastics to create a versatile and eco-friendly leather alternative.
  • Fruit Pulp Leather: Derived from the waste of fruits like apples and pineapples, this material offers a sustainable and unique texture.
  • Cork: Naturally sustainable, cork is harvested without harming the tree, making it an excellent eco-friendly choice.
  • Organic Cotton: Grown without synthetic pesticides or fertilizers, organic cotton is a renewable and biodegradable material.

If you require specialized eco materials for your notebooks, our team can work with you to source the best options that align with your sustainability goals. By choosing eco materials, you can create high-quality, custom notebooks that reflect your commitment to environmental responsibility.

By considering these factors and options, you can select the ideal material for your custom notebooks, ensuring they meet your exact specifications and enhance your brand’s image. If you have any questions or need further assistance in choosing the right material, our team is here to help.
